Thanks again for an awesome weekend.  J and I missed last May and
November because our kids were both Freshman in college and we are 
back on the bandwagon and realized how much we missed our weekends
with you!  I hope you know how much you are appreciated.  I know what kind of time and
effort goes into planning and executing an event of this nature.  Looking
forward to time with you again soon. - - -MD
I wanted to tell you something funny that happened at my weight watchers meeting. The leader asked if anyone was challenged this weekend in reference to food choices. I raised my hand and explained that this weekend I was at a scrapbooking getaway that I look forward to all year long. I said how besides the scrapbooking part being great, we also look so forward to the food because it's so great! I mentioned that my friend and I incorporated pictures of the food from last year into our pages that we made about the weekend. I went on to explain how I wouldn't want to go there and not eat the food and stick with just salad and vegetables to be good because I would then be deprived. I said that I took everything that I wanted and just made sure that the portions for each thing was small. There was no way that waiting to get there for a whole year that I would deprive myself! After I finished speaking the leader called on someone else. This girl stood up and said she wanted to go back to what I was talking about. Her question was ....did you by any chance go to the Scrapbook Summit at the Simsbury Inn this weekend? I couldn't believe it!!
It turns out that she had been to a few of your crops in the past and just loved them! She said that when I said how the food was so good and also so 'pretty', she knew what I was talking about! The leader made me stay afterwards to tell her all about it because she loves scrapbooking and always wanted to go to a nice place. So you even get talked about at weight watchers meetings!!! And I even lost 2.8 pounds!!!
Thank you again for being so nice and allowing us to have these special fun weekends. I felt like a kid again!!! - - - LZ

Just starting to unpack and wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you for a wonderful week-end at the Simsbury Inn.  You ladies out did yourselves!!! (as usual).  Our entire group enjoyed the week-end and the "newbies" really want to come back.  We know that it takes a lot of work to run an event like this and to have it run smoothly and wanted to know that we all appreciate what you do.  As we told you - this is the best crop week-end anywhere.  Thanks again and we will see you in November! - - -DR
